Autodesk Inventor is offer for an affordable price. In this course, you’ll learn basic as well as advanced design skills. A More Detailed Description 

This course is a complete engineering design and modeling guide using Autodesk Inventor. To become competent users of Autodesk Inventor, this course implements real-world scenarios and applications. And with this, students will become a great asset to any company.

The beginning of this course involves using software to learn the basics. Then, this course will teach advanced methods, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using NASTRAN, sheet metal, 3D printing, and 3D animation. 

Section One

This section is the introduction of the Autodesk Inventor. This section covers the basics of modeling, drawing, and user interface. It also includes some more advanced topics, such as the design generator, basic animation, and 3D sketches.

This course also includes a video, providing information about how to download and install Autodesk Inventor, the 2020 version. This video is the biggest part of the course that has valuable skills and information required later in this course. 

Section Two

Section two covers Sheet Metal, which is an invaluable function that the Inventor provides. Industries using press breaks and metal sheets value this skill. With Sheet Metal, users can produce templates and cut sizes of coil, plate, and sheet.

Users also learn bending steps, including which portion to bend first and which to bend last. And with that, users can obtain the desired end product. 

Section Three

Frame Generator lessons are in section three. This is ideal for structural member usage, like angles, pipes, tubes, and beams. This section also delves deeper into 3D sketches. With Frame Generator, users learn how to simply replace structural members without being required to redraw or change the frame structure.

This tool also provides useful functions, like mitres. These functions automatically create an excellent fit between the individual structural members.

Section Four

Section four covers another invaluable function of the Inventor called NASTRAN. NASTRAN is the abbreviation for the first two letters in Nasa, the first three letters in Structural, and the first two letters in Analysis, i.e., Nasa Structural Analysis.  NASTRAN is a software package created by NASA, and Inventor provides this software package.

NASA produced this in the 1960s to assist them with Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Additionally, they developed this tool to create more efficient space vehicles, like the Space Shuttle.  Any industry would find FEA invaluable, and it’s ideal for the pressure vessel manufacturing industries.
